Blessings

"Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving."

W. T. Purkiser

I received a blessing a while back that will effect the rest of my life

.... one that I will be eternally grateful for and cannot possibly pay back.

As a small way of attempting to "pay it forward"

I am offering all of my patterns, tutorials and e-books for free.

If you find something here you like,

then feel free to download them.

And...know that today you too received a blessing.

"May you always have work for your hands to do.

May your pockets hold always a coin or two.

May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.

May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.

May the hand of a friend always be near you.

And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you."

Pay it Forward

If you've had a blessing, why not "pay it forward."

How to Pay it Forward

And remember....

"All the blessings we enjoy are Divine deposits,

committed to our trust on this condition,

that they should be dispensed for the benefit of our neighbors."

Bible quote

My Spirit Renewed

I feel my heart soar and my spirit renewed

as I look to the heavens for a glimpse of you.

I feel my skin prickle and my senses grow strong

I know you are near and that it won’t be long.

I feel your love flow and around me abounds

and my pulse ever quickens as my heart pounds,

and you hold onto my hand as you show me the way

and I follow with pleasure as I do every day.

You give me my strength to travel this road

as you take on my burdens and lighten my load,

and the courage I feel coursing through my veins

you knew I would need to escape from my chains.

The signs that you give me as beacons, as lights

to help me climb mountains, to help me reach heights

in a life that was once lonely and as dark as the night

You’ve shown me the sunshine, you’ve shown me the light.

And when I am weary from traveling so long

and I question my journey and where I belong

I remember your face and the touch of your hand

as beside me I feel you, as together we stand.

And with each new day I now face with such zest

my hope is renewed because I am blessed

and the heavens and skies will part like the red sea

as you gaze upon us, your children are we.
